Torrey Joël DeVitto (born June 8, 1984) is an American actress, musician and former fashion model who portrays Dr. Natalie Manning in Chicago Med.

Biography and career[]

Born and raised in Huntington, N.Y., DeVitto is a renowned actress, model and musician.

DeVitto is best known for her recurring roles, including Melissa Hastings in the ABC Family/Freeform series "Pretty Little Liars" (2010-17), Dr. Meredith Fell in the CW drama "The Vampire Diaries" and as Carrie in the CW drama "One Tree Hill." In 2013, she was seen as Maggie Hall in the final season of Lifetime's "Army Wives."

Additional notable television credits include guest-starring roles on a variety of shows, including "Scrubs," "Dawson's Creek," "Jack & Bobby," "The King of Queens," "Drake & Josh," "CSI: Miami" and "Castle." She booked her first lead on the ABC Family series "Beautiful People" as aspiring model Karen Kerr and was cast as Alexandra on the MTV pilot "Alexandra the Great."

On the big screen, she made her film debut in "Starcrossed" and has gone on to appear in such movies as "I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer," "The Rite," with Anthony Hopkins, "Green Flash," "Killer Movie," "Heber Holiday" and "Evidence," starring Stephen Moyer.

She began playing violin at 6 years old and, staying true to her love of music, played with the Tommy Davidson Band at the Sunset Room in Hollywood. She has played with such artists as Raphael Saadiq's on "Ray Ray" in 2004 and with Stevie Nicks in 2011 for her album "In Your Dreams."

DeVitto is very active with a number of philanthropic organizations. She has been a Hospice Ambassador since 2011, is an Ambassador for the Women's History Museum, is on the National leadership Council for RAINN and works closely with the SAFEBAE Organization, PETA and the Humane Society of the United States.
